You've started to notice as you walk through airports and look at how people twiddle away their time, sneaking the occasional glance over the shoulder of a stranger, that quite a few people seem to spend those spare moments happily indulging in the drug.
You almost got me to download TikTok... That was close! Still, I think it's a good decision, and the introduction is spot on. As they say, be the change you want to see, more educational content on that platform can only make it better.
I think the overstatement of TikTok problems in the US is mostly due to the politics of the US-China competition. Is it really much worse than other social media (for example Instagram)?
I did not connect that to TikTok until Ali’s comment. Love that this passage as it hits upon the many issues surrounding addiction that is plaguing society in its many forms. Not to shame but to understand and explore the possibility of reaching new and old audiences in a way that you think can provide the most impact.
